Refund Policy

1. Eligible Refund Windows

Students are eligible for a full refund when a booking is canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson start time. If the tutor cancels, the session will not be refunded and will be rescheduled instead.

2. Late Cancellations

For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson: if the tutor cancels, the student may reschedule the session at no additional cost; if the student cancels, 50% of the booking fee will be refunded.

3. Tutor No-Show or Tutor Cancellation

If a tutor cancels a confirmed booking or does not attend the lesson, students can choose either a full refund or a rebooking credit.

4. Technical Failures

If a verified platform issue prevents a session from taking place, GenZearn will review the issue and the tutor and student will reschedule the class.

5. How to Request a Refund

Submit refund requests through email to the tutor within 5 days of the scheduled lesson date and include the booking confirmation details.

Our support team typically responds within 2 business days.

6. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds may be denied in cases of repeated abuse, policy violations, or attempts to bypass GenZearn billing and safety processes.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Continued use of GenZearn indicates acceptance of the current version.
